7 x New Hotspots in Amsterdam this July

This month, Amsterdam is welcoming several new hotspots we just can’t ignore. Whether it’s food, a lively new bar or a pop up. We have them lined up for you. Where will we see you this month?

Bar7 by Showpony (Pop Up)
If you’re into parties, you may have heard of Showpony Productions. They manage events and beautiful hostesses to give a party that extra boost. They are 7 years old this year so to celebrate in Showpony style, they are opening up a pop-up bar that will be around for the next 3 months. What to expect? Beautiful women, nice cocktails, funky tunes and a great vibe. Reguliersdwarsstraat 37, Website

De Tulp
Located on the recently renovated Marie Heineken Square, De Tulp is a new tropical bar in De Pijp district. Come here for drinks (they serve Jajem Jenever!) and a bite to eat whilst enjoying the jungle fever. There is a nice space to sit outside and people without a garden are going to love this place! They are open every Tuesday till Sunday until the early hours. Marie Heinekenplein 33, Website

Hoed en Krelis
Walk a bit further and you will also find this new hotspot in De Pijp. They have just opened their doors so we haven’t even had the chance to pass by yet but the interior and menu already makes us happy. Seasonal vegetables are the headliners in this restaurant but they also serve fish and meat. They are open everyday from 9am till close. Ferdinand Bolstraat 58 – 60, Website

The Backstage by The Avocado Show
This is a clever little project from the immensely popular Avocado Show. All we can say now is, that it will be near the Avocado Show’s location and it will be a shop and more…We will let you know when it will open, but we think you can expect it somewhere this month! Read here about the Avocado Show.

Five Brothers Fat, Champagneria
They are bringing Barcelona to Amsterdam and we like it! Enjoy Spanish dishes, cava and champagne until late. The food menu will change every month so there is enough reason to come back. (They had us at champagne..) The opening should be within the next 2 weeks so keep an eye on their Facebook Page. De Clerqstraat 56, Website

Joya
And suddenly it was there, this new Asian Fine Dining cusine from one of Amsterdam’s most famous hospitality entrepreneur Casper Reinders and newcomer Jeabby Chaiyasat. Influenced by the Thai and Japanese cusine, this is another Asian jewel in Amsterdam. Good news, there is an outside terras! It’s perfect for a dinner that turns into cocktails with your friends. Check this place out! Spuistraat 3G/H, Website

Dr. Blend
We love this healthy juice and food bar! This new and second location is right in the heart of Amsterdam West so you can easily pop by to get your daily vitamins! Besides all the delicious juices and smoothies, they also serve amazing salads, sandwiches and wraps. Jan PieterHeije 131B, Website
