Looking for a little ‘autumn’ escape? There are plenty of great hotels and beach bars in Noordwijk aan zee where you can enjoy a little break.
Walks in nature or just enjoying a walk through the neighborhood and breathing in fresh air is what we have all been doing a lot lately. Do you still want to get to your ten thousand steps a day? What about a walk on the Dutch coastline! When the cold weather returns Noordwijk aan zee becomes quiet and during Autumn it’s perfect for beach walks! Most of us go for a little beach break during summer, but why not in autumn! Imagine yourself on a quiet beach with a the sound of the ocean and the mild sun on your skin. We checked out Alexander Hotel and what they have to offer.
Alexander I Hotel
After a lovely diner and some drinks you can go straight to bed! Four-star hotel Alexander is situated 300 metres from the sea and beach. You can expect fancy rooms due to the nice wooden and golden details. The rooms have a private large balcony, comfortable kingsize beds and a rain shower. There’s a beautiful and small wellness in the basement of the hotel with sauna and Turkish bath which is perfect for colder days. That’s all we need right? Rooms are available from 140 euro per night.
Dylans Noordwijk
Next to the comfortable hotel rooms, Alexander hotel also offers fine-dining in their restaurant, Dylans. A great option if you would rather not leave the hotel. Did you know they are mentioned in the Michelin Guide? The beautiful eye catching details, like the velvet chairs and the golden walls, make it extra glamorous. With a nice selection of wine, GREAT service, and cozy fireplace, you can really spent hours here. So what’s on the menu you may ask? For example, their signature dish salt-crusted beef tenderloin or fresh fish. Tip! End your evening at the stunning bar and order a martini espresso.
Alexander Beach Club
During summer you will find us regularly these beach clubs, but our current obsession is Alexander Beach club. A beau-ti-ful beach bar with cosy seats outside and inside, laid-back vibes, beautiful decorations, colourful cocktails and very nice food. That’s how we like it! From carpaccio, caesar salad to eggs Benedict and a regular DJ playing summer tunes. They are only open during spring/summer but did you know you can get yourself a beach-subscription?
