Oh nooo, summer is fading and we hate to see her go. But don’t let that kill your enjoyment for September because we have a month full of cool events that will make this a month to look forward to!
The Art of Banksy
When? until 30th of Sept, Beurs van Berlage
What? Work from the legendary street artist Banksy

Czaar Peter Festival
When? 3rd of Sept, Conscious Hotel, Overtoom 514
What? A street party by once voted as the nicest street in Amsterdam
Every year this awesome street organizes a street party for young and old with fashion, music, food, nice stuff to buy and drinks. for more info check Facebook
West Beach Film Festival
When? 8th – 28th of Sept, Noordzijde 41 from 5pm to late
What? Outdoor Movies in New West
On 11 consecutive nights, a selection of top films are screened outdoor next to the Sloterplasbad swimming pool. For free! Grab a drink and a snack and settle in for some movie magic, whether it be a silver-screen classic or a blockbusting new release. Open-air film specialists Pluk de Nacht will provide guest programming during two nights of the festival. Entrance is free and doors open from 5pm.
Roef Festival
When? 9th of Sept, several rooftops 5pm – 11pm (plus afters)
What? An intimate festival celebrating the best rooftops in Amsterdam
Rooftops participating are NEST, The Student Hotel, Volkshotel de Badplaats, HvA Benno Premselahuis, Zoku , Nederlandse Filmacademie, C Amsterdam and the The Theaterschool. Tickets are at 12,50 euro. For more info visit their website
Magneet Festival
When? 9th – 11th of Sept, Zeeburgereiland (East Amsterdam)
What? A festival for the free spirit
No spectators, only participators is their motto and they live by it. Magneet festival is for old and young, even children. Come and eat, dance, see, do and enjoy! Tickets are available here.

Go with the Glow Vegan Brunch
When? 18th of Sept, Supperclub
What? 2 hot sisters throw a killer vegan brunch
They started about 6 months ago and it’s been a huge succes for these vegan sisters. Every time they host their vegan brunch at a different location and this time it’s in the Supperclub! Apart from the food you will get a goodiebag and there will be speakers and a market. For a spot and price check Facebook.
Inner Peace Conference
When? 1-2 of Oct, Several locations in Amsterdam
What? A bit of peace in our hectic city lives
Because this event starts right on the 1st of October, we want to highlight this event a bit earlier so you get the chance to participate. You may have heard of Delight Yoga in Amsterdam. Well, these guys are organizing the Inner Peace Conference where they invite some of the World’s most inspiring teachers, yogis, meditators, writers and musicians to practice inner peace together. It’s the first time an event like this is hosted in Amsterdam and it’s pretty big. Locations vary from The Vondel Church to the Beurs van Berlage. To score your tickets go to the website
