14 Feb 7X NEW HOTEL OPENINGS YOU SHOULD BE EXITED ABOUT
Hotel, Motel…we have stayed in all sorts. However, not all hotels are worth a visit. But then again, these are. In 2023/2024 a few new hotels are opening that you we want you to hear about. We’ve selected 7 of the most anticipated hotel openings in a list for you.
Hoxton Brussels & Amsterdam
Housed in a Brutalist-style tower block and the former Belgian IBM headquarters, The Hoxton, Brussels will have 198 1970s-inspired rooms; a high-ceilinged lobby, bar and restaurant; a rooftop bar/terrace; and meeting and event space This new hotel is located just north of the city center and is set to open in May 2023.
The same date applies to Amsterdam’s second Hoxton location! Formerly known as Lloyd Hotel – an old hospice is currently being renovated. We can’t wait for this one, because the building is amazing and totally fits Hoxton’s vibe. Only a 10-minute bicycle ride from Centraal Station, the hotel will have 136 bedrooms and a bar/restaurant.
Art’ Otel Battersea Park, London
Where do we start. Opening very soon (on the 21st of Feb) is the brand new Art’ Otel in Battersea London and all we can think about is the panorama swimming pool overlooking the city. This is yet another top notch stay in a top notch city. Located in the legendary power station, the hotel will have 164 art-inspired rooms.
Rosewood Hotel, Amsterdam
Another hotel that is highly anticipated, is the ultra-luxury Rosewood Hotel in Amsterdam. After years of debating, legal issues, and neighbours complaining, it is finally being built. It won’t be for everyone though, prices start around 500 – 600 euros per night (say what?!). They are looking to open in 2024.
Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel
This new hotel will open in Spring 2023 following extensive restoration and renovation works. The heritage hotel, occupying a 13th-century monastery and former Cappuccini Friars Convent, will be lovingly restored to its original glory. The historic property will reveal new-look accommodation, refreshed dining concepts and a completely redesigned spa, all perched on a clifftop 80 metres above the sea level with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Coast. Can’t. Wait.
Peninsula London
Enjoying a spectacular location overlooking Hyde Park Corner and the Wellington Arch, in the heart of Belgravia, The Peninsula London will welcome guests from early 2023. The hotel, which will showcase the best of British culture, art, and cuisine as well as The Peninsula’s peerless hospitality, is located at one of the city’s most prestigious addresses. Expected to open early 2023!
The Social Hub – San Sebastian, Porto Bonjardim and Glasgow
If you live in Amsterdam you have probably heard of The Student Hotel. Now, with 23 locations all over Europe TSH is a household hotel that has recently changed their name into The Social Hub. We say hotel, but it’s so much more than that. In fact, it’s exactly what you need if you are young, ambitious and want the chance to build a social network in a new city. The Social Hub offers students housing, co-working, meetings and events in a new and inspiring hospitality concept. BUT, other guests are welcome too! We’ve slept in the Student hotel before and it’s lovely. Rooms are playful, clean, comfy and have all you need. We’re exited to hear that they are planning new hotel openings in San Sebastian, Porto Bonjardim, Glasgow and 4 more in 2023/2024.

Six Senses Svart, Norway
One of a kind! Why? Because this new hotel (set to open in 2024), is a technological innovation and have ground-breaking designs. Firstly, Six Senses Svart will be constructed on poles, dissolving the boundary between land and fjord, ensuring minimal land impact and seabed disruption. With the demand of eco-conscious travel without missing out on the adventure, the hotel will be located in an off-the-grid location in North Norway – above the crystal-clear waters of the Holandsfjorden fjord, at the base of the glacier itself.
In summary, some great new hotels openings coming up! Which one would you like to try first?
