This is where all the pretty people sit, apparently. When we walked by at least! Anyhow, it’s the place to be, and available seats are rare. Make a reservation if you want to enjoy this sunny terrace in Amsterdam, next to the canals and bridges.

Named after the beer brand, this sunny terrace in Amsterdam is actually one of the oldest locations in Amsterdam East. Het Badhuis dates back from the 1900’s, and now functions as the home of culture and live radio. Find music, fresh beers, and a seasonal, organic menu.
DECK
Brand new, and located in the Northern part of Amsterdam. During spring & Summer they host weekly BBQ’s, Thirsty Thursdays + DJ’s, and a Sunday bottomless brunch.

Luckily, there is enough space here to be able to work with the new rules. You will find this extremely large terrace that is partly covered and there is an open lounge area where you want to sit for days, looking over the water. They have just restyled so have a look!

This is what the Dutch call “gezellig”. There is never a dull moment at this sunny terrace in Amsterdam because its overlooking the intersection in the Utrechtsestraat. Food and drinks are lowkey and also very Dutch. Think burgers, fries, fried everything, and a big beer selection.

Although there can be quite some shade because of the massive tree, this terrace in Amsterdam is large and always has some sunshine to catch. This way it’s a wonderful spot, also with kids and to combine with Artis Zoo.

This Polish inspired bar has a massive outside terrace alongside the Amstel. Check out people and boats all day, but it’s also the perfect bar to combine with a visit to the museum or theatre since Lempicka is located nearby those.

Probably one of my favourite terraces in Amsterdam West! It’s large and wide with many seats available. The service is good and the drinks are cold. Just what you need when the sun is out. They also offer take away drinks and sandwiches at the moment!
