15 Sep CARMEL MARKET | NEW MIDDLE EASTERN RESTAURANT IN UTRECHT
It’s been a while since we’ve written about a new hotspot in Utrecht, but this one is definitely worth the mention. Camel Market ticks all the boxes of becoming THE new hotspot in Utrecht.
Truthfully, it’s nice to see such a large and potential hotspot opening again since the pandemic. So bring your friends (and your QR codes..) and book your table at Carmel Market!
Experience the bustling vibes and organised chaos of Carmel Market in a culinary journey through the Middle East.
Carmel Market
So what can you expect? Inspired by the popular Carmel Market in Tel Aviv, you can expect many flavours and scents that you’ll find in the Middle East. For one thing, the interior is set in an indoor garden, which marble table tops and wooden chairs. Bread in particular, is a key element in the Tel Aviv cuisine. Imagine dipping this in homemade humus, filled pita’s with grilled veggies and more deliciousness. Oh, and they serve pretty cocktails and sweeeeeet desserts! Count. Us. In.
Secret garden
Besides the glass ceiling which offers a lot of natural light, there is a large (beer) garden in the back of Carmel Market making it a hidden gem in Utrecht! To enter the restaurant you must walk into the shared entrance of the NH hotel at Janskerkhof. See you there?
