A Christmas film from Sweden! When an engagement is celebrated between 2 people – one from Sweden, the other from India, they discover that their families don’t match on a Christmas holiday. Streaming from the 30th of November.

Scrooge (a Christmas Carol)

It’s been shown a million times, but this is the latest Nexflix version, and we love it. Song, dance, and excitement, kids, and adults will love it. 

A Boy with the name Christmas

Determined young Nikolas finds his calling in a magical land inhabited by elves (yes, they did it again) in an attempt to find his father and take home the gift of hope. For the whole family, get your hot chocolate (or other winter drinks) ready!

The Christmas Chronicles part 1 & 2

Oh yes, we loved the first Christmas Movie where real life couple Goldie Hawn and Russel Crow played Santa and his wife. Now, two years later, this new Christmas film couldn’t have come at a better time. This feel good movie is a must see.

The Bad Guys – A very bad holiday

Also new on Netflix is this animated Christmas movie about an bad crew that ruins the Christmas Balloon parade. Great for kids from the age of 6 years old. Available in Dutch too!


One of our favourite Christmas Movies of 2019! If you haven’t seen it yet, go see it! Funny how animated movies can still make a weep like a little kid, because this one is also a tearjerker. Postman Jesper is stationed on an ice cold island just above the Artic where things look anything but bright. He discovers a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of handmade toys..

Jingle Jangle

Also new in 2020 is Jingle Jangle. Talking about Christmas Movies and offering diversity, this one features some amazing actors. Don’t watch it if you hate musicals because there is a lot of singing and dancing involved. Besides that, it’s a visual spectacle for all ages. Set in the gloriously vibrant town of Cobbleton, the film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) whose inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. Featuring songs by John Legend and Usher!

The Polar Express

If Tom Hanks plays in a movie, it’s always a good sign. This (again) animated Christmas movie on Netflix dates back from 2004 but is a must see during the holiday period. Great for kids and the whole family!

The Holiday

Also an oldie, but a goodie streaming on Netflix. Did you know they are planning for a The Holiday part 2? Can’t wait for that one! The Holiday is about two women that switch houses during Christmas. And with switching, they learn about themselves and meet some new interesting men! Yes, this is a romantic chick flick that guys secretly also love to watch.

Animal Crackers

With voices from Emily Blunt, John Krasinski and Ian McKellen, this isn’t a movie about Christmas but it’s new and super fun and great to watch with your family. The storyline is nothing what you would usually think of but Nexflix turned it into a spectacle. Enchanted animal crackers turn Owen into whatever shape he eats! But to save the family circus, he’ll have to keep them out of his evil uncle’s hands..

Whatever you do at Christmas 2022, at least you can safely enjoy binge watching these Christmas Movies streaming on Netflix!
