If you miss Australia, keep on reading! Australian brand Deus has re-opened this weekend! With a new name, new chef, new interior and a completely new food concept: the Deus Cantina. The very first ‘food focused’ Deus location in the world.

If you love the surf culture of Australia, add some cool motorbikes and some laid back (street) food, you have Deus Cantina! In the centre of Amsterdam, you’ll find this newly re-opened (hot)spot that will bring you that Aussi vibe.

If all of the above doesn’t sound familiar, we like to introduce the brand Deus with you. With locations in 11 locations around the world, Deus is a household name that originated in Australian. They sell clothes, customs motorcycles, cycle wear and surfboards.

Now, for the first time ever, an all-food concept has opened. The menu is inspired by the locations where Deus has stores such as Milan, LA, Bali, Capetown, Tokyo en Seoul. It’s location, the monumental building at Herengracht 88 hasn’t changed, except the interior and concept. Once inside you feel a totally different vibe. Over the past year, the Deus workshop has been working hard on a makeover. The first new face at Deus Cantina is head Chef Frank Dekker. Together with his South African side-kick Neil Roake, he has put together a menu. With their love for travel, surf and having fun as a common thread. Together they take the guests on a ‘road trip across the world”. Something we can’t wait to taste!
