HEMtuin, realised by creatives from the cultural sector, have found the perfect mix of terrace, music and food. Perfect for those that miss the festival season this year.
The best of a sunny patio session and a crackling vibe. In this largely covered paradise in Zaandam, you can enjoy dinner shows, music, comedy, art, food, drinks, theater and more all summer every weekend. You can book your HEMtuin patio table or tickets per program section online.

DINNERSHOW
Hear, see, feel, and taste. This is what the HEMtuin dinner shows are all about. While getting entertained, you can enjoy a 4-course dinner, created by the chefs from Taets. If you have never been to a dinnershow, they can be cheesy from time to time, but apparently this particular show is pretty impressive!

DJ LIGHTSHOW
To complete the festival experience, you must buy tickets for this techno lightshow, created by DJ’s Secret Cinema and Egbert, curated by festival host Dockyard. What can you expect? A 360 degree experience of sound, light and technology merged into one intense show in the Black Box. People can relax on the ground covered with comfortable cushions at safe distance apart.
HEMTUIN TERRACE
In the middle of a beautiful blend of concrete and greenery you will find an unmistakably cozy terrace. Order street food at the (online) food truck and hang out with your friends in the “linksvoor”, “backstage” or on the “Hitjes terrace”. Summer tunes, decoration and street theater complement this formula for success. You won’t get closer to the festival feeling this summer!

Besides the above, there is also a festival museum or playground, whatever you want to call it. Children are welcome!
To bring you to the HEMtuin festival, there is a special boat that brings you to the “festival ground” in Zaandam from Amsterdam Central in just half hour. Return tickets cost 9,50 per person and includes a welcome drink and a water on the way back. Book a ticket here.
