If you haven’t been to Zwolle, we think it’s time for a visit to this historic city! Although Zwolle is a city full of historic buildings, don’t be fooled by its “older” looks. This Hanseatic city is bursting with vibrancy and has quite a few places we think are worth a visit. Here are a bunch of hotspots in Zwolle we think you should visit.

With locations all over the Netherlands, this one stays a favourite by many. Open for take away! Get yourself a nice cup of coffee with a croissant or try out the shortcake with salted caramel, chocolate en pecan nuts.
Zus Zwolle, Broerenstraat 9
Does it come in pink? Yes it does! Basically, it’s the pink hotspot in Zwolle. From homemade ices tea, hot chocolate, choco fondue, macarons and more sweets. Looking for a great pink gift, this is your place. From coffee cups to pepper & salt sets.
Corners cake, Sassenstraat 20
This pretty pink shop is the sweetest lunchroom in Zwolle, offering delicious homemade cheesecake, carrot cake, red velvet, cake pops, sweet donuts and so much more. A treat for the eye (and the stomach).

Cafe ‘t Beugeltje
When the Dutch government allows it to re-open, Café ‘t Beugeltje is without doubt one of the nicest pubs in Zwolle. Partly due to its location on the canal and its unique location in the historic Wijndragersgstoren, every visit to ‘t Beugeltje is a true experience.
D’Andreas
An all time favourite by locals! This popular dining restaurant is currently offering a nice Corona-proof concept; Chefs Pietro, Dion and Armèl cook a one-pot meal every week. An Italian classic, of course. You come to collect one or more portions… with your own pan. At home you only have to put it on the fire, Buon Appetito!
