WHERE TO STAY

BIKINI Island & mountain Hotel

We love this hotel franchise and were lucky to have stayed here on our last trip to the island of Mallorca. Their service is immaculate and the view from the hotel rooms are priceless. Overlooking the Port de Sóller and green mountains, this 4-star BIKINI hotel feels very private and is the perfect place to relax. bikini-hotels.com

WHERE TO EAT / DRINK?

Restaurant NAMA

Our all time favourite restaurant on Mallorca, by far! Incredible organic Asian style food with a big bonus; the view! Thanks to the stylish decoration, the pleasant atmosphere and the beautiful view, we spent an unforgettable time here. All the food that comes along is a feast for the eyes, and delicious! They work with local products and organic ingredients. Additionally, they serve smooth wines. What more could you want? Starters around €12 and main dishes around €26. restaurantnama.com

Bar la Sang

One thing that we really like is good wine. So we are not searching for authentic  food only, but also the best wineries! Bar La Sang is a natural wine bar and at the same time a store. This super cute and small place offers delicious small plates of charcuterie & cheeses sourced from the local markets. Into a wine tasting? Then you are at the right address. BarlaSang

Patiki Beach

The best spot for warm and sunny weekends on the beach is Patiki Beach in Port Soller. Amazing ambiance with live music occasionally and great views. The food is excellent, from farm to table cuisine. It’s hard to choose, since there are so many great dishes on the menu: Patiki pan fried sea bass, Mallorcan Stracciatella (inside of a burrata), Beetroot hummus with charred sourdough, Vitello tonato with toasted walnut, brioche bun filled with shredded chicken and much more… Don’t forget to order some natural wine, a cocktail or our favourite, Sangria! Patikabeach

Terragust

A unique experience where you can enjoy nature and local cuisine in a idyllic setting. Discover the countryside of the island and enjoy a local based lunch or dinner in a great setting. A menu based on products from the land, which begins with a homemade bread with special oil, accompanied by Mallorcan sausages and cheeses; a first and second course that will have local meat or fish, as well as vegetables and herbs from Terracor and a unique dessert, which will include fruits and nuts. All this accompanied by Mallorcan wines and an incredible environment! Terragust

WHERE TO GO?

Sa Foradada

You can’t drive here, so either you arrive by boat or walk down the mountain through the Son Marroig estate. It lays high above the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean, between Valldemossa and Deià. Walking down makes it a more memorable experience though, although it does mean an uphill hike. (equals a good gym session!) Along this route you’ll pass ancient olive trees and enjoy increasingly gorgeous Mediterranean views like these. Extra tip: After a 40 min walk down you will arrive at restaurant Sa Foradada where you can go for a nice swim! ♡

Cala Estellencs

We got this spot tipped by @Maluwa who lives in Mallorca for a while now with her lovely family. Beautiful beaches is a given when visiting the island with still find some amazing hidden gems like Cala Estellencs. Don’t expect white sands, but rocks, so you might want to bring some special shoes. Maluwa recommended us this quiet place at the west coast which is perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Not super child friendly maybe, since you need to walk down to a small cliff cove before getting here, but it’s worth it. There is one tiny bar set into the rock on a cove where they serve some nice refreshments.

Cala Torta

Don’t we all love turquoise waters? Another great place for a beach hangout is Cala Torte, situated in the north-eastern part of Mallorca, surrounded by hills and nature. On bright days you can see Manorca. Here you will find a little subtle and rustic seafood restaurant serving the most freshest fish and a glass of champagne. What else do we need right?

Salt D’es Freu

I fell in love with the island after visiting Deia. Located in a mountain range, with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea. Deia offers a number of tracks that you should definitely try out. One of the places that we missed and known for great hikes is Salt D’es Freu. In the middle of the forest you will find amazing waterfalls and deep creeks.

Santanyí Market

Santanyí is known as one of the interior hubs on the island where you will find a lot of nice things for your home. So make sure you bring your wallet:). Open every Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00am  to 2:00pm in the center of Santanyí. Amazing chairs, carpets, pillows and so much more. Close to Santanyí you will also find a lot of nice beaches: Calo des Moro, Cala Llombards, Playa de s’Amarador and more.

Caló des Moro Mallorca

All in all, Mallorca is a beautiful island with a great gastronomy, hidden beaches and plenty of sights!

Disfrutar! (Enjoy)
