From well-known hiking trails to exceptional beaches, Antalya is one of the most and must-visit places in Turkey. This fast-growing city has very much established itself as a luxurious holiday destination, attracting tourists from all over the world. Yet, outside of the luxurious walls of the resorts, Antalya is also rich in culture and history, fuelling both your need to relax and your desire to explore.
To truly experience the magic of Antalya, Team Wander-lust was invited to check out NG Phaselis Bay, one of the city’s newest all-inclusive resorts. And we are positive that you would love it as much as we did!
How to get to NG Phaselis Bay
Whether you are flying from the Netherlands or other parts of the world, there is neither requirement for testing, nor quarantine upon arrival for fully vaccinated travellers. You will, however, need your proof of vaccination before boarding. Non-fully vaccinated travellers, however, will need a negative test before entering the country. Having said that, the rules can change any minute, so our advice is to check the local government’s website for the latest updates before your trip.
As soon as we landed at Antalya Airport, the resort arranged a spacious and comfortable transfer to take us to our destination. Within an hour, we arrived at the doorstep of NG Phaselis Bay. We were greeted with champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and most importantly, welcoming smiles from the staff. Even the hotel lobby itself was incredible. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow so much natural light to come in, as well as offer a magnificent view of the hotel’s outdoor amenities. There is also a 24-hour hotel bar just across the reception and an indoor jungle vibes seating area, making the space feel like a greenhouse, without the humidity.
See, Feel, Love at NG Phaselis Bay
Opened in April 2021, NG Phaselis Bay is an exceptional all-inclusive lifestyle resort. Be prepared to live out your most luxurious fantasy! The resort operates by the slogan “See, Feel, Love” and true to that, we saw the best of what Antalya has to offer; we felt extremely welcomed and taken care of, and we loved every single minute of it!
Home away from home, but better
From suites to villas, there is a sanctuary for everyone. We stayed in the Deluxe Room in the main building, which can comfortably accommodate a family of four. The room came with a balcony that looked over the magnificent mountains and the Mediterranean Sea – the perfect view to wake up and wind down to. If you are travelling in a larger group, NG Phaselis Bay has many suites and villas on the other side of the main building, where it is quieter and more secluded. The villas can accommodate up to 10 people, with their own private pool and a refillable bar.
Deluxe Room
Even without leaving the building, you there is plenty to do! Head to the gym that is fully equipped with Technogym machines, or enjoy an aromatherapy massage at Aliva Spa. There are also over 10 restaurants and bars where you can awaken your tastebuds. From traditional Turkish food to indulgent Italian dishes, there is even a restaurant dedicated to desserts! We had the most delicious dinner at Phrygia on our first night. The restaurant serves traditional Turkish cuisine with a unique twist, with many vegetarian options, highly recommend!
Aliva Spa
Breakfast is served at the Cuisine Main Restaurant, and my god, have I never seen such an impressive selection of food! If variety is what you are after, this is the place for you. The restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating areas. There is even a section designated for kids – with little tables and their own buffet selection!

Antalya is not only a city but also the capital of Antalya Province. The province stretches along Turkey’s Mediterranean coastline. As such, you can expect some amazing sights!

Antalya Old Town
For a fun day trip, get in the car and head to Demre. The town is a 2-hour drive away from the resort. In Demre, you will find many historical treasures and cultural experiences, including the ancient Greek city of Myra, where you can explore the ancient sites and an amphitheatre. You can also visit the burial place and church of St. Nicholas, more commonly known as Santa Claus. You’d be impressed at how well-preserved some of the stonework is. They date back to the 11th century!
If you are a nature lover like us, you do not want to miss Düden Waterfalls. Entry to the waterfalls is completely free and there is a park where you can picnic and the little ones can play. Along the waterfalls, you can also find some local restaurants where you can replenish yourself whilst enjoying the view. There is also a bat cave near the Upper Düden Waterfalls where you can peek your head in to see. Beware, it does not have the most pleasant smell.
Are you a thalassophile? If you love the sea as much as we do, sail from Demre to Kekova, a charming little island just off the coast. There you can submerge yourself into the turquoise ocean, snorkel amongst the fishes and corals or simply enjoy the yacht life as you sunbathe on board.

Feel the sea breeze and relax
NG Phaselis Bay is honestly the perfect destination for a beach holiday. Without even leaving the resort, you can find the ocean on your doorstep. Both Beluga Bay and Secret Bay lie along the Mediterranean Sea, offering a panoramic view of the mountains. While being secluded enough for you to enjoy nature in peace, you can access the beach bar easily for refreshments. Why not enjoy a morning swim in the sea? Afterwards, you can rest by the Cabanas, where unlimited plates of fresh fruits and nuts are brought to you. Savour the moment with a bottle of champagne or some refreshing cocktails, NG Phaselis Bay has it all!
If you want to steer clear of the ocean, NG Phaselis Bay has multiple pools, all with different designs and depths. You cannot miss the infinity pool just in front of the main building, it looks like a mirror surrounded by beach benches, where guests can relax. There is also an adult-only pool near the suites for a quieter and undisturbed experience.

NG Phaselis Bay looks after every one of the guests, including the little ones. While the parents are busy getting some sun and much-needed rest, children can enjoy an array of water slides and activities in Aquapark on site. We won’t blame you if you aren’t able to resist the temptation of jumping into the Aquapark yourself!
Love every minute of it
No matter how big and brilliant a place is, the experience is not complete without great customer service. From the front desk to the bars, the service at NG Phaselis Bay is immaculate. The staff are always helpful, friendly and welcoming. Not only that, the resort goes above and beyond to ensure our entire journey is nothing short of convenience and comfort, which is why NG Phaselis Bay is offering guests a free CIP Meet & Assist (Fast Track) and lounge service at Antalya Airport. As such, guests can rest assured that their departure from NG Phaselis Bay will run just as smoothly as everything else at the resort.
