The coastline of The Hague has recently transformed into a new beach destination that comes with beautiful places to have yourself some relaxing time off and enjoy the beautiful view of the North Sea. Let’s talk about Nieuw Kijkduin.

Currently still under development, Nieuw Kijkduin is Holland’s newest seaside town, in The Hague. Shops, restaurant and cafés including a beach club will fill in this new space. We had a first look, so you know what to expect.

Taste of Kijkduin

Located at the Kijkduin shoreline, this restaurant is the perfect place to relax after a walk on the beach. It offers a wonderful selection of drinks and delicious meals. What makes it even more enjoyable is the beautiful backdrop of the dunes of Kijkduin. Taste of Kijkduin is for food lovers looking for quality dishes. This can be burgers, snacks or my fav: their delicious loaded fries.

Chaya

Chaya is a beautiful Lounge located right on the beach. You can enjoy a perfect combination of relaxation and delicious food. The bohemian atmosphere and sea views create an amazing setting to go with friends or have some time off by yourself. The menu at Chaya features a mix of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, including fresh seafood, sushi, and small plates options designed for sharing. Whether you’re in the mood for a light bite, a refreshing cocktail, or just a snack, Chaya is a great place to connect with friends or simply enjoy the aesthetics of this lovely location.
