Hong Kong is well known for it’s tax free shopping so be sure to save enough space in your suitcase when travelling to this Asian capital.
Carry on ♥
A direct flight from Amsterdam to Hong Kong takes about 11 hours so make sure you feel comfortable whilst travelling.
» Comfy socks (not too tight!)
» Comfy trousers / sweatpants /Jumper
» Eyedrops (yes, you will thank me)
» A good Airplane Pillow Check this one out!
» Ipod (Music saves the day for me, make sure you download a good playlist)
» Sleeping pil (I take half a sleeping pil on flights longer than 8 hours which makes a huge difference!)
Check-in luggage ♥
Summer is around the corner and Hong Kong can get very humid and sticky during this time with temperatures around 27 degrees. Pack light and clever.
» Elastic bands (Women with long hair need this especially when it’s hot! Men, please ignore..)
» Laptop (as a blogger I really need to write whilst travelling. Plan B is to use my smartphone to store information)
» A good handbag or backpack (this comes in handy when you hike up to Victoria Peak)
I’m just going to Hong Kong for a few days so my suitcase won’t be as full coming in..
I’m not making any promises about coming back though! 😉
