08 Aug 9X BEST ROOFTOPS IN LONDON
Outdoor drinking spots where you can actually catch some sunshine are rare in London. But when you know your way around you’ll find some hidden treasures all around the city. London has some of the best outdoor vibes when the weather allows it So enjoy the sunshine, and creative vibes, and let this list of the best rooftops in London inspire you…
Seabird at the Hoxton Hotel
This rooftop restaurant/bar opened in 2019, just before you know what happened. Luckily we managed to check it out before and boy did we enjoy it! Seabird is buzzing during lunch at dinner and is everything you expect from The Hoxton. Besides the top-notch seafood, they serve pretty exotic cocktails that are served in tropical cocktail mugs. Oh, and the view isn’t bad either!
Laurel’s On The Roof, Mondrian Hotel
The rooftop, One Hundred
Dreaming of a Californication but you’re on the other side of the world? Well, head over to The Rooftop at the stylish One Hundred Shoreditch. This brand-new East London bar will transport you to California with its retro decor and American-style menu. Best of all, you get to enjoy a panoramic view of the city (all you have to do is to visualize the English townhouses as American high rises)! Read more about One Hundred here.
Savage Garden in London
“London’s wildest rooftop bar”, that’s how they describe themselves. It sets the bar high, but they can easily handle it. On the twelfth floor of DoubleTree by Hilton, everything is focused on the unexpected: The injectable donuts are a big hit! Savage Garden is characterized by a cheeky interior, where urban is alternated with velvet plush and marble. Go for a good cocktail or extensive dinner, and book a twisted Afternoon Tea or dance. Are you in London on business? Then go for one of the Savagely Swift business lunches. This rooftop offers views of The Shard, the Tower of London, The Gherkin, and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Boundary rooftop
In the center of Shoreditch, east London, you’ll find one of our fave streets; Redchurch street. This street has a great selection of shops, street art, cool cafes, and the hidden rooftop bar at Boundary where you can enjoy the sun until it goes down.

The Aviary, 22-25 Finsbury Square
This cool rooftop in London opened its doors back in 2018. The decor has the ultimate Instagram factor, the view is stunning and the roof terrace brings you back to a beach bar vibe with a sophisticated style. Get off at Liverpool street station and you will find this quirky spot. There’s an outside bar and the sofas and chairs are so comfy that you never want to go home…
Stunning views from The Aviary
Madison London
This rooftop in London offers breathtaking views of St. Pauls’s Church and is yet another great spot in the city. Besides, one extra reason to visit is the special artwork cocktails with printed foam that they serve. Moreover, they host different DJs and live ensembles 7 days a week.
The Standard London
Another hotel that was clever enough to create a useful space on the roof. Open from Monday to Sunday, this rooftop is located near Coral Drops and just 25 min walk from the infamous Camden Market. Voted as one of the best hotels in London, they made sure their rooftop isn’t falling short.
12th Knot at the Sea Containers Hotel
Sea Containers London is the amazing sister hotel of One Hundred Shoreditch, which we mentioned before. By all means, smaller rooftops are just as welcome on this list as the larger ones. Take 12th Knot, for example. This rooftop bar’s outdoor terrace will be transformed to bring nature into the urban space in the heart of London, which guests can enjoy for the duration of the summer, set against a backdrop of unrivaled views across the Thames to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the City of London.
