10X SUNNY DESTINATIONS YOU WANT TO BE AT RIGHT NOW

We’re not sure about you, but we are cold back here in Western Europe. Time to share some destinations where you can soak up the sunshine right now.

We already shared six of our favourite sunny destination for Samsung Members, but we wouldn’t call ourselves “Wanderlust” if we didn’t have some more to share! Here are 10 destinations in the world where the sunshine is dominant right now!

Dubai

This destination is always sunny plus Dubai easy to reach from almost anywhere. From Amsterdam its only a 6,5 hour flight! Expect many buildings, top of the range hotels and restaurants, plenty of shops and extravagant…well, everything. Currently, there is an amazing expo named EXPO 2020. It was postponed due to Covid but you can now visit this until the end of March.

Mexico

It has to be said, Mexico is currently booming. We think it has something to do with the relaxed travel requirements in order to enter. No vaccination is mandatory and only a health declaration form is needed for travellers. But be warned, it also means you need to share Mexico’s favourite locations with a lot of people right now.

Zanzibar

Oh boy, Zanzibar is set to be the next must-visit destination of 2022. White sandy beaches, friendly locals and the option to go on safari! We will travel to Zanzibar this coming March so keep an eye out for our travel guide!

Zanzibar Coconut

Capetown

People have started to fly back to Capetown, a favourite sunny destination for people that love to work remotely or take a break. There is plenty to see (stunning views all around), and most people stay for more than two weeks. We totally get it.

Thailand

After more than two years, our favourite Asian destination is welcoming back tourists. You must be fully vaccinated, plus a negative PCR result is needed. Rules to get in Thailand are pretty strict right now, so come prepared. That being said, while you are there, buy a coconut, book a daily massage (it’s a thing) and give back to the community, they need it.

Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe

Australia

G’day mate and good news indeed. By the end of January, Queensland will re-open for international travellers. Queensland is the first region to open international borders but the rest of Australia is expected to follow up in a few months. However, it’s only open to fully vaccinated travellers. If you are not vaccinated (yet), check where you can travel to without showing a vaccination passport check where you can travel to without showing a vaccination passport.

Maldives

Known as a heavenly destination for honeymooners, The Maldives is now also opening more affordable resorts to make it more accessible for young couples and families. The best time to visit the Maldives is between December and March. Nevertheless, it’s always warm but after March the rain season starts. We are planning to visit the Maldives this year so we can’t wait to shoot some awesome reels and photo’s with our Galaxy S21+ smartphone (picture perfect in every sense of the word!

Egypt

Besides the famous pyramids, Egypt is a perfect destination for kitesurfing and water sports. You can spend time in the desert or cruise over the river Nile. Relax by the sea and explore the history of Cairo. Perhaps check out the tropical hotels in El Gouna. All in all, enough to see and do and sunshine guaranteed!

Curaçao

This tiny happy island is a favourite for the Dutch and not without reason. We visited Curaçao not too long ago and created a full Curaçao Guide so you don’t have to search for it. Searching for the best hotspots on the island? Check out these 7 must-visit spots on the island.

Jeremi beach

Gambia

It’s one of those places you must visit once in your lifetime. For starters you can spot amazing wildlife, the climate is as warm as the locals and you can find fantastic beach resorts. Between November and June, the climate is perfect with almost no chance of rain.

As shown above, plenty of choices when it comes to sunny destinations to escape the winter blues!
