The Avocado Show will open a pop-up restaurant in London this March

Grab your phone, set the date, and empty your photo gallery. You are in need of some space when the popular Avocado restaurant is going to wow London with their green and healthy creations.

What to expect
From March 11th till 24th, the infamous Dutch Avocado restaurant will touch down in London’s Bluebird Chelsea for two weeks only. They will be serving 5 of their famous dishes including the Instagrammable Avo Garden, The Bun Burger, and The Benny Boy.

Sustainable?
The avocado show received a lot of questions regarding their Avocado’s and that it may be healthy, but not always sustainable. Because of this, co-founder Ron Simpson traveled to South America to see with their own eyes, if their avocados are produced in a sustainable way. They made a short documentary that you can watch here.

The Interior
Besides the green on your plate, you can also expect a lush green interior at the London Avocado Show pop-up. Bluebird Chelsea is known for it’s lavish dinner parties and stunning terrace, is the perfect spot for the Avocado Show pop-up. We told you that you had to make space on your phone didn’t we?

The Avocado Show is coming to Brussels!

We knew it wouldn’t last too long. The popular avocado restaurant that is famous for their instagrammable avo-dishes, is finally expanding abroad. The Avocado Show’s is coming to Brussels!

It’s big news because avocado fans have been waiting for the restaurant to open somewhere else after their two locations in Amsterdam. The Avocado Show’s first Belgium franchise is set to open at the end of November on the Anspachlaan in Brussels.

Co-Founder Ron Simpson says; “It’s a personal business goal that I am very proud of”.

The Avocado Show in Brussels will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Are you ready to get in line?

The Avocado Show just announced their second location in Amsterdam!

Holy guacamole! Just when you think the hype has calmed down a little bit, The Avocado Show is back at it. Again. Celebrating their 1 year anniversary, the’ve just announced their second location in Amsterdam and we know where!

Haven’t heard of the Avocado Show? Quick recap; it’s the first Avocado restaurant in Europe and has been trending on social media for the past year. You can order anything you can imagine that includes the healthy green stuff. Entrepreneurs Ron Simpson, Julian Zaal and chef Jamie van Heije, opened the first Avocado Show in trendy area De Pijp in Amsterdam and even had people sleep in front of the doors, the night before it opened.

After a good and solid first year, their collaboration with Shawn Harris, the woman behind Nature’s Pride, one of the largest Avocado supplier in the world, they dicided to take the next step and expand abroad. She believed in the Dutch entrepreneurs from the beginning and is investing millions to take The Avocado Show International.

But first, let’s talk about the highly anticipated second location of the Avocado Show in Amsterdam! (I know you have been scrolling down the page for this one..;)) It will be located on the Willemsparkweg, with the focus on take-away and delivery so you won’t need to queue for hours. As soon as there’s more news to tell, we will be the first one to let you know, of course.

The Avocado Show opens up The Backstage

Since we wrote about the opening of avocado restaurant The Avocado Show in Amsterdam, it’s been busy times for the 3 entrepreneurs. They knew it would probably be a succes, but they had never dreamed of the international coverage it has gotten so far. David Wolfe, Vice, ELLE and other international platforms have all posted about this popular restaurant and before they knew it, people from all over the world wanted to experience the first avocado restaurant in the world. They are planning to expand in several countries around the world so there might be an Avocado Show near you in 2018!

Even before it opened, avocado lovers spend the night in front of the doors to be the first ones to check it out. Talking about dedication! But the restaurant’s popularity isn’t to everybody’s joy. Neighbours complained that their street is always packed with people day and night, to try the amazing menu. Innovating as they are, they came up with a solution. The Backstage. The Backstage is a pop-up avocado store situated pretty much next door to The Avocado Show, so people can shop, and find perfectly ready to eat avocado’s at an avocado wall (yes, no more pinching in the supermarket!). Meanwhile you’re buddy or lover can wait to be seated without annoying the neighbourhood. Briljant. The Backstage will have a similar interior (pink chairs yehess!), and will sell tons of avocado goodies and not just the edible ones. You are able to buy pins, cookbooks, bags, inflatable avocado’s and merchandise.

The Backstage is now open but remember, keep coming for The Avocado Show though…they don’t want another line at the door.. 😉

The Amsterdam Dance Event has kicked off and there are too many parties to mention. There is one, however, that is a little bit different and we think avocado lovers are going to like this.

The Avocado Show is hosting a ADE dinner on the 20th & 21st of October and will offer a 3-course meal for just 25 euro! On Friday & Saturday night you can sign up this unique 3-course all avocado frenzy with their famous Mini Poké Bowl, the lush Avo Bun Burger ánd the signature dessert The Date Cake. There will be vegan options available for those who want. If you can’t make it for dinner, the Avocado Show will be open for snacks and cocktails after 21.30.

There are some rules though:
– Buy your tickets and arrive at the restaurant anytime between 19:30 and 21:00.
– They recommend one person to buy all tickets for your table, to guarantee your party is sat together.
– If you would like the vegan menu, please add a comment to your booking stating how many of your party would like this option.

The Avocado Show is going international!

We all know that the Avocado Show was going to be popular. Tourist from all over the world visited the avocado restaurant since it opened in last December. Good news for those who haven’t had a chance yet to check it out. The Avocado Show is going international!

The avocado madness started last December

Thanks to Shawn Harris, the woman behind Nature’s Pride, one of the largest Avocado supplier in the world. She believed in the Dutch entrepreneurs from the beginning and is now going to invest 5 million euro so they can expand abroad.

At the moment they are talking to 10 different countries and they are focusing on major cities like Dubai, Bangkok and capitals in Europe. They are eventually planning to open around a hundred restaurants. They are also looking to open a second restaurant in Amsterdam.

About 1 month ago we were the first ones to tell you about the soon to be open Avocado Bar, The Avocado Show. The restaurant that will open their doors this February, gained a lot of interest from all over the world. Blogs, online magazines and platforms couldn’t stop talking about it.

Co-owner Ron Simpson recently revealed a few of their test tastings on Instagram and all we can say is; holy guacamole! (see how we did that? ;-))
They haven’t confirmed their dishes just yet but The Avocado Show has posted a picture of a Poke dish that will probably make the cut!

During the test tastings last week, they tried Avocado Pizza, Avocado Ice-Cream (this looked sooo good), Avocado Salads, Avocado Rolls and more.

Amsterdam will open Europe’s first Avocado Bar » The Avocado Show

In New York is already a big hit, Avocado Bars. The first one will open soon and there is no reason for Amsterdam to stay behind. Entrepreneur Ron Simpson, Julian Zaal and chef Jamie van Heije are opening The Avocado Show in trendy area De Pijp in Amsterdam.

It will be Europe’s first Avocado Bar and you can bet on it that it’s going to be a hit. The avocado has been an ongoing trend on social media for a few years now. Apple even treated it’s users with an avocado emoticon this week and it’s a healthy nutritious food source our bodies love. One study looked at the dietary habits and health of people who eat avocados. Avocado consumers were found to be much healthier than people who didn’t eat avocados. Damn, this is good news! You can find the avocado in all sorts of variations nowadays; you have Avocado burgers, fried Avocado, smoothies, salads and let’s not forget about the smashed Avocado on toast. (winner!)

The Avocado Show will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner (including late night) and of course you will be able to order online. We’re excited about this one so stay tuned for the opening in February because we’ll be the first to tell you!
