27 Feb THE FIRST PLANT-BASED DRIVE THRU IN EUROPE
On March 4th, the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam Noord will be transformed into a temporary M *** F *** Drive Thru. This way the Meatless Farm and the Salsa Shop want to introduce plant-based food to a wider public.
It will be the first ever plant-based drive thru in Europe and this way they can show people that plant-based food is better for the planet, better for your health and still tastes incredible.

Vegan Burito’s
To launch the M *** F *** Drive Thru, Meatless Farm has partnered with Mexican food specialist Salsa Shop. They have redesigned their burritos, just without the meat! The meatless burritos are more sustainable and healthier than the meat versions.
With more than 25 years of retail experience, Erwin Meijer is responsible for the Dutch operation and the European roll-out. “After the success of our drive thru in London, we are now opening one for a few days on mainland Europe. To get to know our products for the first time. We are really convinced that it is good to eat less meat. But we are certainly not anti-meat or pro-vegan. However, replacing one extra red meat meal per week with a plant-based meal is the equivalent of taking 16 million cars off the road.”
Meatless Farm?
The products from Meatless Farm are a household name in the vegan food industry so it’s no surprise that they came up with this plant-based drive thru. To emphasise, their products are not pre-cooked like the rest of the market. All products are prepared with ingredients from various farmers and are made from vegetables such as peas. This way you experience taste, bite and juiciness of meat but 100% vegetable, the products are high in protein and low in saturated fats. Sounds good to us!
On the menu
You are probably wondering what you will be able to get at this plant-based drive thru right? For example the Great Greta’s Burrito (Veggie of vegan), Dirty Nachos Libre and for the kids a not-so-chili sin carne.
Opening hours M *** F *** Drive Thru: March 4th 1:00 pm-8:00pm. March 5th 11:00 am-8:00pm and March 6th 11:00 am – 5:00 pm in the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam.
