When the Foodhallen first opened in October 2014, it was a grand succes. So much so that for the first couple of months you could find the half of Amsterdam walking around looking for the tastiest foods. Although the succes, Co-founder Chong Chu thinks ” it’s important to evolve and continue to surprise people “. Now in 2016, it is time for some fresh winds so from October onward, 8 new food ventures will join the food Hallen. Curious who they are?

We are curious about this one because DimSum isn’t so easy to get it right. But this joint is inspired by the best of Hong Kong with a twist of the international kitchen. Classic gyoza
Renato’s Pizzeria
The name is as Italian as it can get and this restaurant is already well known in The Pijp in Amsterdam. Famous for it’s authentic pizza’s, they are finally coming to the west side. The best ingredients are important from Italy so you will be able to taste the true Italian flavors.
Yoghurt Barn
This one is not a new kid on the block but nevertheless popular. Once voted ‘The Best Frozen Yoghurt in Amsterdam’, they are now coming to the Foodhallen. You can expect Yoghurt Barn to serve you from January onwards.
Günther’s FlammKuchen
We are still enjoying the warm temperatures but as soon as winter is coming, Gunther’s
Viêt View is one of the ventures that will stay at the Foodhallen
There will also be a pop-up stand that will change from time to time. First up is Monsieur Baba. Well, there you have it. 8 new food cravings to look forward to. It not totally clear which foodies will depart from the foodhallen but The Butcher, Viêt View and Maza will stay.
