THE GREANERY FINALLY OPENS IN AMSTERDAM

They tried to open twice last year, until Covid regulations decided to close all restaurants. Now that lockdowns are a thing of the past, the Greanery is back and ready to shine. With a unique concept, this sustainable restaurant is more than just a “green” restaurant.

The Greanery is a traveling sustainable pop up restaurant, opening this December in Amsterdam as its first location. Its location, the Transformerhuis near Westerpark, will be transformed into a green environment for the occasion, using video mapping. In addition, there will be live background music and performances. This year, the theme will be ‘Regions of Holland’, but this changes per location.

The Greanery experience

ALMOST ZERO WASTE

Operating in an innovative and groundbreaking way, completely on batteries with green energy generated in Amsterdam. Moreover, this is done without further CO2 emissions. In addition, a raw material plan and logistics plan for all materials has been developed in order to achieve the aim of ‘zero waste’. The unique pop-up restaurant will opened from the end of November until December 23rd

It has three special objectives: The Greanery works exclusively with local products, basically eliminating the food chain. In addition, they work without waste and the first edition is already emission-free. After all, the restaurant must be energy regenerating in five years’ time.
