03 Dec Top 10 international airports in the world 2019
Some airports are hell but others are a treat. There are countless of things can make your airport experience a good one. Can you eat well, are the shops nice, how is the lounge area or accessibility? CondéNast traveler listed the top 10 international airports in the world.
10. Vancouver International Airport
In at number 10 is the large airport of Canada. The particular score high because of the fast transit into the city. It only takes 30 minutes to get into the city centre of Toronto which is pretty fast.
9. Amsterdam Airport
Well hello Amsterdam! We couldn’t agree more with the placement of Schiphol airport in this top 10. There are many shops, restaurants, coffee places, massage rooms and ATM’s. Perfect for a transfer also.
8. Abu Dhabi International Airport
It’s no surprise that this middle east airport is in the top 10 list. They always try to be the best and with this airport, they come very close indeed.
If you need to wait for your flight you don’t have to wait uncomfortably as they have 24 Finnish-designed GoSleep sleeping pods in Terminal 3 (Comfy chairs that convert into fully enclosed lay-flat beds.) There are also free showers that you can use. Awesome!
7. Hamad International Airport
This one is especially great if you have kids. They have an Activity Nodes, where kids can be entertained with TVs, computers, and games.

6. Tokyo Haneda Airport
Easy access to the city (13 minutes!) and great domestic flight routes is what makes this airport jump in at number 6.
It’s also the 3rd busiest airport in Asia but performs extremely well. Chapeau!
