07 May Top 5 » London’s best lunch & coffee spots
We often travel to London, for business or pleasure, and we always enjoy it big time!
We’ve found our way but every time when we come back we discover new places, like the ones I have listed for you in this post.
1. The Detox Kitchen
Delicious food combinations that taste great and make you feel even better!
This small cute little place at Carnaby serves high quality, delicious food free from wheat, dairy and refined sugar.
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or anything in between, or takeaway some healthy deliciousness for when you are in a rush.
The Detox Kitchen has everything you need to cleanse and enrich your body!
Treat yourself of something that is tasty & fresh!
After a few days in London I wanted something different than a cinnamon dolce latte or Chai Latte of Starbucks; I was looking for a quality coffee shop and I found one! In Covent Garden you will find this small corner where they serve coffee that is brewed to perfection. Delicious dark roasted coffee, a latte macchiato with soy or almond milk or an fresh almond milk, it all tasted fantastic (I tried it all). The knowledgeable staff of New Row know how make coffee like it should be.
That’s not all, they also offer a selection of sandwiches, fresh cakes, pastries and a healthy salad.
Tip: Try their yogurt for breakfast, with granola and honey. Love it!

3. OTTOLENGHI Belgravia
I’ve visited one of the successful chains of Yotam Ottolenghi – known of his column in the Guardian, on-going cookery books and programmes for television.
In this cozy delhi there is a little communal table at the back where you can enjoy the incredible tempting food with top notch quality, or you can also choose to take it away, which is highly recommended due to number of seats – more seatings outside. The food is already prepared – cold salads, delightful pastries, cakes and coffees – so it’s simply a function of plating and then enjoy it. And trust me you will really enjoy it!

4. Ethos
London is known as one of the best shopping cities in Europe; from NikeTown, Mark & Spencer to Uniglo & Topshop, Oxford Circus is offering cheap high street shopping. You need to recharge your batteries after a heavy shopping session and I advise you to go to Ethos. It’s near Oxford Circus, has a great ambiance, you don’t need to wait since it’s a self-serve buffet, vegan & gluten-free dishes are served in bowls, and you pay for your food by weight. The menu is so diverse, there’s something healthy for everyone, even if you are not vegetarian.

Boxpark Shoreditch – a pop-up mall – is located directly next to Shoreditch High Street on the London Overground Line.
Boxpark is made completely of shipping containers and is creating unique, low cost pop-up stores, filled with a mix of exciting and innovative fashion and lifestyle brands, galleries, cafés and restaurants.
You will find different cuisines – Thai, Caribbean, American, British, Korean – where they serve excellent food for a reasonable prices. One of my favorites is Falafelicous!
