How to get to Berlin
Honestly, we love traveling to Berlin by train. It only takes about 5,5 hours from Amsterdam, and direct trains are available. For us it means we can work along the way, relax and stare out of the window. Be aware that the German train system has some delays, so we always advise you to take an early morning train to avoid major eruptions.
Sly Berlin – coolest place to stay in Berlin
This is by far the coolest Berlin hotel that we’ve stayed at. Pretty new to the scene, and Sly is not located in the heart of Berlin. That being said, it didn’t take us long to get in the city center, with the tram on its doorstep. When you walk in, you are welcomed in the greenhouse dining area, and it’s impressive to say the least. Don’t forget to use their spa (with sauna) on the rooftop, seeing Alexander Platz in the distance. Grab a Berlin coffee to go, and explore this more local district of Friedrichshein.
Hüttenpalast – unique place to stay in Berlin
