Vegan Fresco will sell plantbased products from all over Europe to keep the variety. Next week, a crowdfunding campaign will start to fund part of the supermarket. Until then, the empty building, that is located across from an Albert Heijn supermarket in the Baarsjes, is going to be renovated.

Besides that, vegan food is on high demand as people are more conscious about their food consumption. It’s better for the environment plus nowadays plantbased products (like vegan cheese for example) have hugely developed.
